Germany lacks practical implementations for temporally and spatially dynamic grid fees. DynaNet is developing a tool for the intelligent calculation of dynamic grid fees in the distribution network and is testing it in a field trial. OLI is coordinating the consortium. Duration: 08/2025 - 07/2028.

Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) provides only emergency measures for bottleneck management. SURF develops market-based processes for proactive management of decentralized energy systems so that grid operators can prevent network overloads in advance and avoid permanent grid expansion. Funded by the Federal Government, 2025-2027.
